Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk-a-thon

The goal is support our local sorors and family members who are fighting against or are survivors of Breast Cancer through our annual participation in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk.

Autism Research Walk-a-thon

According to statistics from the U.S. Department of Education and other governmental agencies, autism is growing at a startling rate of 10-17 percent per year.  Beta Omega was approached to participate by one of our own Sorors - Soror Kim Riley whose son is autistic.

Buckle Up America

Sorors participated in this program at Swope Parkway Health in KCMO, and they handed out phamplets outlining the necessity to wear your seat belt and the lives that are saved by wearing a seat belt.
